So, I'm finally done with Myre, but it is now NFR. Why?

Well, simply, it is a matter of being outdated.

I use Firefox 1.5, Thunderbird 1.5, and Windblinds 5.5. All the skins I have made are for these old versions, and I don't want to have to rebuild them. Especially because the plugins I use in thunderbird don't work with newer versions.

Also, there are some bugs that I can't fix for the life of me. Things like the tabs and back/forward buttons in firefox (which you can see in my last screenshot) and others.

I'm sorry if you where looking forward to this being released, because I was, too.

In the end, it's finished, but not at the quality that I want to release.

I've been very busy, lately. I've not been able to work on Myre as much as I'd like, but don't worry, it's still coming.

In this post, I'll feature Firefox. This is the height of my firefox skinning days. I'm kinda proud of this one, and just for the people who read my journal, here is a preview:


Sorry for the lame compression, it's all I could do and upload it to imageshack. But, as you can see, I'm having some bugs, to if you can help, that'd be wonderful.
All screenshots:
-The Back/Forward buttons got pushed together by one pixel, and now there is no separating line.

Second Screenshot:
-I want to remove the searchbar from the bookmarks sidebar
-I don't know if there is a way to change the style of just the folder items

-Nothing, really.

-I need to make the links invisible

I'm excited to release this, so the sooner I get these fixed, the better.

Seriously. What part of "Don't send me messages asking for the Coversutra skin" do you not understand? THE SKIN IS NFR. Don't send emails, PMs, notes, paper airplanes, or messenger pigeons asking for it.

Sending me multiple messages actually puts you in the negative numbers.
